Our body lose water constantly as part of the metabolic process. Water comes out of our body in the form of urine, sweat, so we need to drink water frequently to maintain a healthy body.
Our bodies are made up of up to 60% of water, therefore it is essential to drink adequate amount of water per day. The heart and brain are made up of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water.
The muscle and kidneys are composed of 79%, and skin is about 64% of water. So, in straight forward term, staying hydrated is key to a healthy body and optimal fitness performance.
How Do I Calculate My Daily Water Intake?
To calculate your daily water intake, just divided your weight by two, and drink ounces of water per day. For Example, If your weigh 150 pounds (68 Kg), and have a moderately active lifestyle, then the formula will be as following: (150 p x 0.5) = 90 ounces or 2.7 liter of water per day.

How Much Water Should I Drink Per Day?
As per recommendation, for male, you should drink 3 liters (100 ounces) water, and for female, you should drink 2.2 liters (77 ounces) water as this can help you to meet your hydration goals.
